New water feature now turned on in Maungaturoto
The sound of water is now an integral part of our beautiful township. This is part of the ongoing effort by the Maungaturoto Residents Association to beautiful Maungaturoto. If you haven't already taken a look, the new water feature is outside Dreams. Well worth checking out.

Maungaturoto launches new branding and new website
Maungaturoto Residents Association have gone all out to rebrand and revamp the internet profile of our lovely town. Featuring a new logo based on the prominent Pukearoa mountain dominating the local landscape, the new website looks to be a winner. Check it out here

Maungaturoto Christmas Parade Photos 2012

Maungaturoto Christmas Parade 15 December 2012
Once again Santa will be visiting our lovely town right here in Maungaturoto. He's due to arrive at 5.30pm on Saturday 15th December 2012.
The parade begins at 5.30pm with Carnival activities beginning at 6pm. Terri Donaldson the Parade's coordinator says the Carnival promises to be great fun and currently includes candy floss, old time games (sponsored by Fonterra), the Scout's sausage sizzle,the Lion's hot chips and hot dogs, Real Town Pies eating competition, a win a beer fridge competition courtesy of 100% Fergus Appliances, balloon animals and much much more.
Terri is asking local groups to support the Carnival by hosting an event. If you'd like to organise something please contact Nyree on 09 431 8462. There is also an opportunity to hold a stall or car boot sale. Stalls will be located at the Maungaturoto Primary School and a site fee of $10 will apply. Contact Marge Paton on 09 431 8148 to book a site.
